BELIZE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT RE-OPENS
Belize will re-open its International Airport on August 15, 2020.
The Government of Belize, announced June 25 via virtual press conference, confirmed that Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE) will reopen on August 15 to international travellers.
The decision to reopen Belize’s international airport, which was closed due to COVID-19 restrictions in early-March, was made in conjunction with Belize’s Ministry of Health and took into consideration the ongoing guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in the United States.
To date, Belize has recorded a total of 23 cases of COVID-19 and 2 deaths.
